Data Protection & GDPR

At Firefly Somatics™, we collect, use, protect, and process your personal data in a private, professional, and safe manner. We take privacy very seriously and will never share your personal information with any outside party. Sharing of data occurs only within the Firefly Team (if relevant and appropriate) and always with your consent via signature.

1. Consent and Authorisation

We will always ask for your consent and authorisation to use or disclose your protected health information. This authorisation permits disclosure of information about your health conditions within the Firefly Team, depending on the therapist you are working with—either Danielle or Amy.

  • Danielle has access to all personal data.
  • Amy has access only to clients she is facilitating.
  • All data handling and sharing are monitored and safeguarded under Danielle.

2. Data Use and Storage

We retain your personal data—including all assessment forms, NDAs, and waivers—indefinitely in our secure filing system so that we maintain a record of your journey with us. Danielle has direct ownership over this filing system and shares only appropriate information with her coaches.

3. Check-In Procedures

For our check-in procedures on Telegram, your chat box and all personal data are permanently deleted when you complete your journey with us. This includes all images, voice notes, text messages, and other information shared in the check-in portal. Once deleted, these data are inaccessible to us.

Clients may choose to keep the chat box open on their own devices as a reference point for guidance and support shared during their journey. All clients are informed of this closure procedure before completing their program.

4. Data Security

We implement strict security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All personal information is stored securely, with access limited to authorised Firefly Team members as described above.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request corrections to any inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data where legally permissible.
  • Withdraw consent for the processing of your personal data at any time.
