Firefly Charity Work
The foundation of Firefly Somatics™ is built on Love. Everything we do is rooted in this frequency — in truth, connection, and remembrance of who we are at the soul level. Our moral compass aligns with the Universal Laws that govern all life, guiding the integrity of our work and the way we serve.
We honour and live by:
- The Law of Divine Oneness
- The Law of Vibration
- The Law of Attraction
- The Law of Correspondence
- The Law of Inspired Action
- The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy
- The Law of Cause and Effect
- The Law of Compensation
- The Law of Relativity
- The Law of Polarity
- The Law of Rhythm
- The Law of Gender (Masculine & Feminine Energy)
We recognise that we have been called into service — each in our own unique way — for the greater mission of Divine Oneness. We also acknowledge that not everyone on this planet has access to the means or awareness to heal, expand, and awaken. We hold the understanding that in truth, we are all brothers and sisters — souls walking one another home. Guided by the Law of Inspired Action, we give back where we can, knowing that what we send out, we also receive. Through the Law of Correspondence, we recognise that we are all reflections — mirrors for one another’s growth and remembrance.
It is for this reason that giving back holds deep importance within Firefly Somatics™. We serve from the heart, in honour of both the seen and unseen threads that unite us all.
Mission Project 2021: Tanzania, Africa
Mission work in Africa has always been close to Danielle’s heart, and in 2021, it finally became possible for her. Through a friend’s recommendation, Danielle was introduced to Collective Calling, a non-profit organisation focused on child-centred international relief work in West Tanzania. In 2018, the organisation founded the Centre of Hope (COH), located in Kasulu just outside of Kigoma, near the UN camps.
The COH operates as a transitional rescue centre for street children, created in response to the growing challenges surrounding child protection. Since its establishment, the COH has rescued over 20 children, providing them with safety, care, and hope for a brighter future.
The Centre of Hope serves as a sanctuary for children who have faced extreme traumatic adversities — including severe poverty, homelessness, parental death, abandonment, AIDS, starvation and malnutrition, abuse, neglect, and even child prostitution. At the COH, the children are cared for in every way — physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. They are provided with daily meals, education, pastoral support, playtime, and clothing — essentially all of the basic needs required for a child to grow into a healthy human being. Through a shared vision and a foundation of love, the children are gently rehabilitated and reintegrated as part of their healing process.
In 2021, Danielle raised €1,500 for the Centre through a fundraising initiative, and in June of that year, she travelled to Tanzania to deliver the funds in person and spend time with the children at the Centre of Hope.
Being a teacher at the time, Danielle also took the opportunity to run an Educational Summer Camp during her stay. The camp included a variety of enriching and joyful experiences — educational workshops, arts and crafts, sports days, music and dance, games, and creative activities — all designed to inspire the children and help them reconnect with play, learning, and joy.
Feed Our Homeless: Dublin, Ireland
Danielle has been volunteering with Feed Our Homeless (FOH) for several years, a Dublin-based non-profit organisation devoted to supporting those affected by homelessness across the city. Their work extends to rough sleepers, marginalised individuals and families, and those living in emergency or temporary accommodation. Through their Outreach Programmes, Soup Kitchens, and Rehabilitation Initiatives — all sustained entirely through donations — FOH provides not just food and shelter, but a sense of belonging and dignity to those who need it most.
Guided by her heart and her belief in Divine Oneness, Danielle has offered her time and energy to this cause in many ways. She has volunteered at FOH Headquarters, including throughout the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, joined weekly Outreach runs to connect and serve those living on the streets, and continues to take part in the annual Christmas Eve Outreach, a night devoted to love, compassion, and human connection. For Danielle, this work is an expression of her mission — to be of service, to shine light where it is needed most, and to help others remember that they are never truly alone.
Danielle has also orchestrated two major fundraisers for the non-profit organisation, raising over €3,000 in support of their mission. Alongside this, she organised hamper appeals which included donations of non-perishable food, clothing, toiletries, and other essential items for those in need.
Deeply committed to inspiring the next generation, Danielle integrated this service work into her teaching by organising Outreach Programmes for her Transition Year students. With parental permission, students accompanied her weekly on Outreach runs in Dublin City Centre — an experience that deeply opened their hearts and expanded their awareness of the realities of homelessness and compassion in action.
She also coordinated school awareness talks, inviting the Directors of Feed Our Homeless, Natasha and Tony, to speak to students about homelessness, addiction, rehabilitation, recovery, and the incredible work carried out by FOH across Dublin. These talks created a ripple effect of empathy and consciousness within the school community, inspiring collective action and understanding.
Saint Vincent De Paul: Ireland
In 2018, Danielle felt called to lead a whole-school “Jumper Day” fundraiser and Christmas hamper appeal in Moyle Park College in support of Saint Vincent de Paul (SVP) — a voluntary, charitable organisation in Ireland that offers practical assistance and hope to those experiencing poverty. Through this initiative, Danielle and her students raised over €800, along with numerous Christmas hampers filled with essentials and gifts, bringing warmth, dignity, and a sense of community to families in need during the holiday season.
